I’m an attorney practicing in Austin, Texas. 90+% of my practice is now litigation with 80+% of that being personal injury (primarily car and truck accidents).
I was graduated from the University of Texas in 1992 with a dual degree in Honors Business and Management. I went straight into law school at the University of Texas and, much to my parents’ chagrin, started a successful computer company upon graduation. After six years of working 100+ hours per week, I was burned out, tried software consulting for a year and a half, and then started my law firm in 2003.
Unlike most lawyers, I didn’t leave an existing firm taking my clients with me. I also didn’t have any systems for marketing my law firm and felt very constrained about the laws and regulations governing lawyer marketing.
Then, one day, I happened upon an ad by John Rubbio for his marketing system. I bought it, and it launched me into serious marketing using his methods. After that, I tried Ben Glass’ marketing system. Later, John Iannelli’s publisher asked me to review a copy of his material. After spending a combined $4,000 on John Rubbio and Ben Glass’ books ($2,000 for each of them), I was shocked that John Ianelli’s material was just as good, but at 15% of the price.
